Future in Focus and Youth Leading the Conversation
On 17 October, Nexus Angle proudly joined TEDxLyari as a sponsor at the Arts Council Karachi, Pakistan. The theme Future in Focus set the tone for an inspiring gathering where young people stepped forward with courage, creativity, and powerful personal stories. The event brought together students, emerging professionals, community voices, educators, and creatives who carried a shared belief in building a stronger, more hopeful future.
TEDxLyari provided a rare space where stories from the heart were welcomed and celebrated. Young speakers reflected on identity, struggle, growth, community belonging, and the realities that shape their lives in Lyari and beyond. Their voices carried honesty and strength. Each talk felt deeply rooted in lived experience, and it resonated strongly with the youth sitting in the audience, many of whom saw parts of their own journeys reflected on stage.
The atmosphere throughout the event was vibrant and full of energy. There was excitement, curiosity, and a sense of togetherness. Young people did not just attend to listen. They came to connect, share ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations. The spirit of Lyari was present everywhere in the room, full of resilience, talent, and ambition.

The Nexus Angle Ambassador Experience
Our Nexus Angle Ambassador team played an active role across the event and brought a strong sense of youth leadership into action. From the beginning of the day, the team set up our interaction stall and began engaging with participants who stopped by to learn more about Nexus Angle and explore growth opportunities.
The stall quickly turned into a lively meeting point. Students and young professionals came forward to talk about their goals, their learning interests, and the kind of opportunities they were seeking for career and personal development. Many of them shared how events like TEDxLyari encouraged them to think more boldly about their future.
The Ambassadors guided conversations, answered questions, introduced Nexus Angle programs, and created awareness about our learning and networking initiatives. Several participants registered for the Conflux Networking Bootcamp, showing strong excitement toward skill building and future readiness opportunities.
Throughout the day, our Ambassadors also conducted interviews with speakers, participants, and guests. These conversations captured reflections on confidence building, communication, community empowerment, and youth aspirations. The interviews helped surface meaningful perspectives on how young people want to grow, connect, and lead change in their communities.
The experience reinforced the strength of youth leadership when trust, responsibility, and collaboration are placed in their hands. Our Ambassador team demonstrated dedication, ownership, and genuine passion for engaging with others.
Building Connections and Supporting Youth Communities
